A NOTE FROM STEF & TIM

Hi Family & Friends,

You’re not wrong – it is unusual that you haven’t heard details about Stef & Tim’s upcoming wedding. It’s not like us to wait so long for something so important, and to leave you hanging on what to expect, where to stay, etc. That’s just rude.

But, we’re going to have to ask you to be on pins and needles for the sure-to-be-legendary #marriedAF celebration a little bit longer.

We have been quietly navigating some health issues for the last couple of months, and at this point, we can’t guarantee they’ll be resolved by August 15. So out of respect to the people we love (that’s you), we are hitting the pause button (just the pause button) and will pivot to a new date as soon as we can. At that point, it will be full steam ahead and hopefully we’ll be able to get you all of your information annoyingly EARLY instead of late.

This is one of the hardest decisions we hope we’ll ever have to make, but the time was getting too close, and it wouldn’t be fair to you to ask you to keep holding time and space for that date.

Prognosis is extremely positive, please do not stress about that. It’s a matter of being able to fully enjoy this momentous day, not of life and death, but we didn’t want to look back on our wedding and think, “we let people down by waiting too long,” or “I wish I’d felt 100%.”

This challenge is showing us every day how much we love each other, how lucky we are to have each other’s support through a hard time, and how amazingly fantastic it is to know so many folks are in our corner, even as we’ve been very quiet.

So hold on because the best wedding celebration is yet to come. We love you, appreciate your support, and can’t wait to see you in Columbus/in our neighborhood as soon as we get resolution and a new date set.

Because this wouldn’t be #teamAF without some pop culture references, imagine Ross Geller yelling, “PIVOT!” and know that #teamAF is STRONG, said like the Ukrainian guy in Seinfeld who ruins Kramer & Newman’s game of Risk.
